Wolfsburg has signed Slovan Bratislava's captain, Lubomir Hurtaj. Hurtaj produced 46 points (21+25) in 52 games and was Slovan's 2nd scoring leader in the Slovnaft liga last season.

Arusaki, I have fixed Wolfsburg's roster.

I have also added the pre-season games (excl. the cup)

Fintan, if you would like to help Arusaki covering the German leagues, please let us know. News, previews, updates, whatever. Any help is appreciated. Your site on German hockey is great.

Felix Schütz of Ingolstadt has been offered a contract by the NHL's Buffalo Sabres. Until negotiations have been concluded he will not be playing for the Panthers in the preseason games.

Yorick Treille has flown home because of family circumstances. He is not expected to be back for Sunday's friendly against Augsburg.

Cologne Sharks have won their first pre-season game. The team beat Straubing by 2-0, with third period goals from Alexej Dmitriev and Ivan Ciernik. New goalie Travis Scott posted a shutout in his first game.

Cologne will tonight face Aalborg in the final of the mini-tournament in Bremerhaven.

Frankfurt Lions have signed winger Jeff Heerema. The 27-year old Canadian was a 1998 first round pick (11th overall) by the Carolina Hurricanes. Notched up very decent points during his seasons in the AHL. Has also appeared in 32 NHL-games.

Hey, is there a game in Berlin tomorrow (friday)? I'll be here for another day, and my friday evening is free, and i'd love to be able to go to another game here in Europe.

    Is this their arena? http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...&t=h&z=17&om=1

I can't seem to figure out what time the game might start, any hints?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
