I wouldn't be too excited about the VTB Arena just yet. According to an article on fcdin.com (link) the winning design by Erick van Egeraat is not final. The final design will be unveiled in March this year and it will incorporate elements from all the designs that competed in the beginning. Here's a link to an article on archi.ru with pictures with other designs that competed but didn't win.

I'd say that now, after the new project was announced it is time to be excited. In project by Erick van Egeraat hockey arena had only 10,000 seats. Now it's 15,000 and the whole design is more viewer-friendly and have this north american feel to it. So I think it's a big improvement.

Are you gonna keep on updating this? Or are these the only good arenas? I thought Auto and Yugra ones are nice. Or you don't consider those top arenas?

Anyways it is nice to see some arenas ( I would wish to see all offcourse, maybe besides Novokuznetsk one :P ) I really love Platinum Arena

Found this link that gives a full 360 view of the Minsk Arena. Using fullscreen option, almost feels like you are in the rink.
