Lithuania, Serbia? 2004-2005?

Portugal :Portugal plays inline hockey, not ice hockey. So no league.

There has indeed been ice hockey in Portugal.

Who says Portugal never had a national team for ice hockey. Well they did in the year 2000 the Portugal national ice hockey team invited the first Portuguese community club from Toronto to Portugal to play 3 games. This is the only time that the Portugal National team played. All games were played in Viseu where a new rink is being built The Palacio do Gelo will replace the old one and will have bars and resturants it won't be finished unitl spring 2007, this according to Alexander Franco former player of Portugal National ice hockey team.

What a funny coincidence...Ronald Calhau joined my team in Vienna yesterday. He has moved to Vienna for job reasons. So I think I can provide you with more information on Portugal and Brazil hockey.

I found three teams from Portugal:
Viseu Lobos
Serta Vikings (Viseu) both teams located at Viseu, about 50`000 inh.
Inline All-Star, team made up of plysers from Lissabon and region. Plays also at the - so far only Indoor Rink at Viseu, capacity 800. A rink in Lisbon however is planed.

Anyone new information?
