i doubt its suitable for ice hockey, but i know tunisia are planning to make a team, lead by a tunisian player in paris named Ihab Ayed.

Just got word that Tunisia have started their ice hockey federation, and an ice rink is being built in a sports complex.
Names ive heard mentioned are Ramzi Abid a former NHLer who plays in switzerland, Semir Ben-amor from finland, and several from around france.

I'm Ihab AYED, in charge of the Tunisian Ice hockey federation.

I would like to inform you that the team is under construction. We have now 12 players and a goal keeper.

All those players are tunisian.

The tunisian ice hockey federation will be officially created before december 2009.

We have a small rink in Tunisia, in Hammamed, but it's not an officiel size.

I will present you the team, with the different tunisian players in a couple a weeks.

I would like to thanks the Algerian Inline and Ice hockey association for their support. they help me to get in contact with many tunisian players around Europe.

Federation creation is officially announced today!

Official press release says ATHG is based in Courbevoie (FRA) and has goals to promote icehockey in Tunisia, build of ice rinks in Tunisia and partecipation in African Ice Hockey Cup in South Africa, February 2010.

Roster is composed by 15 players from around the world, most famous faces are Semir Ben Amor (Jokerit Helsinki - FIN), Mehdi Belhassen (Evry – D2 FRA) and Gaël Cler (Cherbourg -D2 FRA). Federation hopes to count also on ex-NHLer Ramzi Abid (Traktor Chelyabinsk RUS)

With the 5 players above and CLER there are only 6 I knew!
