Hi, A very nice site! I love the old pics especially the one of Pelle and his dad with the medals around his neck. Pelle was my favorite player and I remeber in the '85 Finals against Edmonton the commentator saying he runs on water as they showed him mask flipped up sucking down his juice.
Just wanted to say great work on the site. I still have the in memorium card from O-pee-chee that came out the next season. Is a shame that he was taken before fully realizing his abilities and leading the Flyers to the cup!
Keep up to good work and I will check back anon!
Cheers,
Thanks! Glad you enjoy it. The site is a labor of love for the four of us involved.
For those who would like to be informed of when new videos, photos and other features are added to the site, email admin@pellelindbergh.se

Best singular hockey site I've seen in a long time. I will pass this on to my site.

In a word: Wow. Great site both from a presentation stand point and a content stand point. I only wish I had the ability to do something like that.

one of the greatest goalies ever to play. i was shocked when i read he died so suddenly.
RIP
Very good sites!
Thanks for the memories!
I was in the army, when I heard Lindbergh was died... sad.
Aftonbladet has a good article (http://www.aftonbladet.se/vss/sport/story/0,2789,966262,00.html) today about Pelle Lindbergh and his amazing play and not so amazing play at the WCJ 1979. In the final vs Soviet Union, Sweden was up two goals with 5 minutes to go. USSR tied it up and shortly before the end of the game –Sweden would have won the gold with a tie- Lindbergh flopped and Sweden lost the goal.
The article quotes a new book on Lindbergh - Pelle Lindberg - Behind the White Mask.
Its a nice site. Pelle Lindbergh are one of the great. Buts its a sham Sweden are to bad to honor old heroes.
