What kind of Company "Mobile Edge" is/was?? Do you know it??

Mobile Edge is a bag-made company.
http://www.mobileedge.com/

The Mobile Edge(ME) company organized a temporary icehockey team that is composed both "Dong-won Dreams" and "Hyun-dae Oilbankers" ex-icehockey players which were dissolved for financial reasons.
After ME team was disbanded, New Hockeyteam "Kangwon Land" absorbed most ME players.

Ah, thank you for the explanation. Kangwon hasn't won many games this season, but they've put up a good fight in many games, and actually seem to deserve more points than they have right now.

Thanks..Tokyo bucks and Franco.

As Yunsei University defeated Korea University by a score of 6-3 today, the Korea Season 2005-06 (we called "Kang-won-do Cup") is all over.
Yonsei University won the Cup.

Frankly, I am surprised at your interest in Korea IceHockey. ^^;;
Thanks for your concerns.

Hello wjeep!

Welcome to this forum. I hope you will make yourself comfortable here.

We would be interested in your thoughts on the Asian League, and how it is (or not) helping Hockey in Korea.

Yes, No playoff.
Korea Icehockey Federation divided the season into three
11.23~12.03 in Mock-dong
12.05~12.15 in Chunchon
12.16~12.26 in Mock-dong
and decided against playoffs.

Maybe they thought the teams were so few.

Thanks wjeep,

please allowe me to ask you for further help. I know, there are many different "Leagues" in Korea:

- Chong Byul Championship (All Class)
- Chong-Hap Championship (All Round - probably the Championship, wich actual was played)
- KBS-Cup
- National Wintergames
- Yoo Han Chul-Cup

Is it possible, that you can write me back, where are the Champions since 1992? I do have - more or less - all Champion's untill 1992....

Could be, that this is written on the official page from your Federation, but... well..... I can't read your language.... :003:

Thanks for your help in advance!! :023:

Yes, "Chong Hap" Championship is a official Champ.
The regular season of Korea is a Chong Hap Championship.
All Icehockey teams have to participate in this Champ.

We called KangWonDo-Cup that you recorded above 'regular season 2005-2006'

"Chong Byul" Championship is a business team(company club)'s competetion. yet Halla winia is a only business team since 2002 in Korea, so "Chong Byul" Chmp. is disappeared.Although Kangwonland organized a icehockey team this year, I think Korea Icehockey Association(KIHA) won't revive the "Chong Byul" Championship because of AL.

I don't know why Korea Championship is so many, even though we have a few icehockey teams.Anyway, The host organization of "Chong Hap" Chmpionship, KangWonDo-Cup and Yoo Han Chul-Cup is a KIHA. But the National Wintergames is held under the auspices of Korea Sports Council.
